Winners, losers of the NASCAR CUP race at Pocono won by Chase Briscoe


Long Pound, Dad. – A look at the winners and losers of Sunday’s cup race at Pocono Raceway.

Winners

Chase Briscoe – Scored his first cup victory with Joe Gibbs Racing and won the weight he felt he had not yet won in his first season with the organization. He led a large 72 rounds in ending his third career series victory.

William Byron – The score leader was the fastest in practice, but then crashed into qualification and forced him to start behind. The car has been repaired. He moved through the field to score points in each phase, but finished in 27th place.
