Winners, losers of the NASCAR CUP race at Atlanta Motor Speedway

Hampton, GA. – Here’s a look at the winners and losers of Sunday’s cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Winners

Christopher Bell – While only one shot led, it was the last round to achieve his 10th Career Cup victory. It was his first win – and the first win for Joe Gibbs Racing – since his win in June in New Hampshire. Bell said: ‘I’m glad we don’t have to hear it. “Joe Gibbs Racing has not won since June.” I am very pleased to end that narrative. “

The Joe Gibbs driver just beats Carson Hcevar and Kyle Larson.

Carson Hocevar – While angering some drivers with how he chased, Hocevar ended the best second career and also provided the line of the night. Asked about the evil of some veterans drivers, Hocevar said: ‘We are here to win races, not be a boy orchestra and to love each other and play together on the playground,’

Kyle Busch, Ryan Blaney and Ross Chastain were not satisfied with Carson Hocevar’s management in Sunday’s race.

Kyle Larson – He failed to finish five of the last six races on Atlanta, but on Sunday, Larson finished third and won a stage. It was a successful race for Larson.

Ryan Blaney and John Hunter Nemechek – These are the only two drivers who started the season with the top 10 finishes in both races. Blaney was seventh in the Daytona 500 and fourth in Atlanta. Nemechek was fifth in the Daytona 500 and 10th in Atlanta.

Nascar – The sanction body likes close competition. The race contains 50 main changes, a track record. The Top 10 AFRIDE also comes from nine different organizations.

Losers

Brad Keselowski – He was collected in wreckage in each of the first two points races of this season. He finished 26th in the Daytona 500 and placed 39th in Atlanta. This leaves Keselowski 33rd in points.

Corey Lajoie – He was late in the Daytona 500 on the front, but was involved in wreckage and finished 22nd. He was picked up in an accident on Sunday and placed 38th. Lajoie holds a limited schedule. The past two races have been one of his best chances of winning or a strong finish. Instead, he ended up with ruined cars.

Daniel Suarez – The driver who won this race in dramatic style last year was not at the end this time. He was eliminated by an accident and finished 33rd.
