Portrush, Northern Ireland – You don’t feel bad for Xander Schauffel to return Claret Jug when he arrived in the royal portress to defend the title outdoors. It’s not like it’s not wherever he keeps him.
Schauffele won eight times in his PGA tour. This includes two Major, open and PGA championship. Includes a tour of the tour in his Rookie season. And includes an Olympic gold medal from Tokyo 2021. years.
Where should I keep everything? Not in his house. Schauffele said his parents guarded all his trophies, “probably in the bank’s vault.” Have a home in San Diego, and his father builds a place on Kauai, I live in that Stefan Schauffele calls the “tank”.
Gold medal?
“I don’t really have a clue where it is, to be completely honest,” Schauffel said.
It’s not all so surprising given how simple Schauffel and his wife prefers to live. Celebrate a little more than Scottie Scheffler, but similar to the world player no. 1, he is on the next tournament to start.
“What should I do with it? I don’t call people in my house. Am I just looking at myself?” He said. “I don’t want to go into a trophy room like,” Look how great I am. “I’m just raised to think like that, and that’s kind of stuck.”
This raises the question: What is on the shelves of their Florida house if they are not trophies?
“My wife hung some pictures of me in my gym from me by the victory of the Olympic medal, and she made it so high, I can’t reach him,” Schauffel said. “I have to get the ladder now, and that bothers me. If nothing, put me in a master jacket, as you would piss me out so, you know what I mean?” Something like that? “
If he was to Schauffele, he would hang photos of his dogs. Or nothing. Maybe an hour.
“I’m always late, so maybe it would be a good watch,” he said.
He said his Ryde Cup Captain Keegan Bradley said he certainly enjoys big victories, and Schauffel Figures that would do it at some point.
“But I really really want to put my head down and keep stuffing,” he said.
