More than five decades since the first brick was thrown at the Stonewall Riots, the LGBTQ+ community continues to fight off discrimination and fight for their place in society. Much of this discrimination and hate stems from the myriad of misconceptions, myths, and misinformation about who LGBTQ+ people are.
