The Vikings GJ McCarthy Long wait for Game will end on Saturday.
Coach Kevin Okonil said the plan is to play McCarthy against Texas in the opening match of Minnesota. McCarthy has not taken a game since the opening match last season.
McCarthy reported the knee pain after that game and ended up surgery at the end of the season on the articulated cartilage. Sam Darnold took the position of novice and helped the Vikings 14 wins, but bad play in the last two weeks led to the Vikings with McCarthy in the first place for this year. Darnold signed with Siox as a free agent.
McCarthy threw two paths to touch a land in the opening match last summer and the Vikings will not mind in a similar productivity as long as it does not come with another injury.
