UFL remains committed to Mamfais despite the attendance issues


UFL will return next month, for the second season after the inclusion of XFL/USFL. The Spring League is committed to the Memphis market, even if the Memphis market may not yet adhere to UFL.

The average number of fans was 6900 fans for their home games for 2024. Saint Lewis drew more than 34,000 per game, on average.

“It is a historical market, it is clear,” said Ross Brandon, UFL CEO. “The show boats have an enormous history here in Memphis. When we met with integration, it is clear that Memphis was a major market as part of the Legacy USfl. We only continued to consider its construction.”

Memphis is not the only challenge. Johnston noted that Birmingham’s stallion won three consecutive championships, but the bottom of their household games was not operated on a fixed basis.

There is nothing wrong with giving the right time to the current markets, especially since there is no guarantee that a new market will perform better. UFL works in Saint Louis because: (1) They love football; (2) The American Football Association took football. And (3) UFL support as a medium finger for the team that left the city.

That is why it makes sense to look at the other markets that the US Football Association has abandoned or ignored. It is not just the issue of finding major population centers. It is related to the places where UFL is frequented, for any reason.

TV and gambling will be basic revenue flows for UFL. However, to make people choose to run their TV and watch, it is useful for these people to see that people who live near places find that games are convincing enough to perpetuate the time and money needed to appear.

Patience is required, at the present time. In the end, it may take creativity to arrange the difference in a way that makes every game you feel a big problem. Especially if/when UFL extends until eight teams.
