Ty Masterpool suffered a crash on lap 11 of Round 2 at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California, and retired after breaking his fingers in the crash. Stilez Robertson injured his wrist in qualifying at San Diego and will sit out at least two rounds of the Monster Energy Supercross 250 West division championship.
Masterpool’s crash during last week’s replay resulted in two broken fingers. He was seen wearing a helmet after the event. His return schedule has not yet been announced. Masterpool moved from the post 250 East division Levi Kitchen withdrew from the Western division due to illness Anaheim 1 before the season opener.
Robertson suffered an injury when he landed hard after a jump. He didn’t crash, but the impact was enough to bruise a bone and cause ligament damage. Robertson was unable to complete the round and finished 20th in the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California. Factory Triumph had hoped to ride this week, but with three of the next five rounds featuring the East division, the schedule gives it more time to heal.
If Robertson loses both rounds in the West, it will return to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on March 8, 2025 for the first East/West matchup.
In the 450 division, Aaron Plessinger injured his hand during the feature, but will move up to A2.
