Trey Hendrickson: Things are exactly the same with the contract, I’m here to help the boys

The Defensive End of Trey Hendrickson reported the Bengals for Training Wednesday, but it is not a sign that there is a breakthrough in conversations about the extension of the contract.

Hendrickson is in the last year of the current contract and looked for a new one for a long time. The owner of Bengal Mike Brown recently expressed optimism about something that gathers, but Hendrickson said on Wednesday that there was no progress towards the agreement. Hendrickson said that his goal is in joining the team, while the contract remains unresolved, so he can help prepare his teammates for the season.

“Things are exactly the same“” Hendrickson said, over. “What I won’t work, I can do the best, I’m avoiding being a distraction. I want to help guys.”

Hendrickson noted that he said he would not play this season according to the current terms of the contract and said that the plan was left after joining the team this week. He added that he would not doubt that he would be ready to go when and if the two sides can agree to the deal, but when it can happen, an open question in Cincinnati can happen.
