The Titans’ general manager search will take center stage over the next three days.
After firing Ran Carthon earlier this week, the Titans have identified a number of candidates for the job and will meet with nine of them by the end of the weekend.
SI.com’s Albert Breer reports he will meet with Dolphins CEO Reggie McKenzie, former Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff and Buccaneers assistant GM John Spytek on Friday. Colts assistant GM Ed Dodds, Seahawks senior personnel director Matt Berry, Bills personnel director Terrance Gray and Browns assistant GM Catherine Hickman are scheduled for Saturday.
The Titans will end with Chiefs assistant GM Mike Borgonzi and Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham on Sunday. The next step would likely be to hold a runoff with some of the candidates who are closing in on finding a person to work with president of football operations Chad Brinker.
