The Senate’s efforts to quickly retreat from changing gambling tax

It was the beautiful big bill, in many ways, very large.

Comprehensive legislation includes changes to the law that could not have occurred if it was processed one by one. One of these changes is related to gambling.

Previously, every dollar lost the applied for every dollar won. The gambling income was clear profits, if any. Now, the losses are crowned by 90 percent. Which can create income without profits.

Both the House of Representatives and the Senate have made efforts to retreat from the change in gambling tax laws. By Joy Capliti of Associated Press, an effort in the Senate To fix the situation quickly failure.

Senator Catherine Cortez Memasto (extending Nevada) requested a draft law that would retract the review. Senator Todd Yong intercede. This was sufficient to prevent him.

“What I understand is that many Republicans, and many Democrats did not know that it is part of this process,” said Cortez Memasto, regarding the change in gambling taxes.

Young’s objection means that the draft law will have to pass the process of the usual committees, the votes of the ground, and not, in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

“Now I see Republican Senate members walk throughout the Capitol, saying they do not know anything about this policy,” said Senator Ron Widan (de Orgon). “The truth is that when you rush to a process like this, in this way, and all these policies that you did not really think about, you risk the consequences of people in the homeland. This is what is happening here.”

Now what is going on is an attempt to return the watch to the days before the big and beautiful bill made life more ugly for gamblers.
