Pope Francis will be accepted at the hospital in Rome to support the treatments and tests of Bronchitis, Vatican said.
The 88-year-old Gemelli hospital will arrive on Friday, Friday, he said short statements.
Pope has had symptoms of bronchitis for several days and have been delegated to officials to read talks prepared in recent years.
“This morning, after his audience, the Pope Francis will accept the necessary diagnostic tests in Agostino Gemelli Polyclin and follow the hospital treatment to constantly bronchitis,” said the statement.
On Wednesday, the Pope asked the priest because of the difficulties of reading a part of his speech.
“Let me continue reading the priest, because I still can’t, with my bronchitis. Next, I hope I can soon” I hope, 88 years old.
On Sunday and last Wednesday, he asked his friends to read his name on behalf of his general audience.
He did meetings in his vatican residence last week in an effort to rest and recover.
The Pope was treated for Bronchitis in the same hospital in March 2023, spending three nights.
In December of the same year, he had to cancel the trip to the United Arab Emirates for another disease for the COP28 climate summit.
