The Mayor of Budapest has questioned police to help organize the prohibited LGBTQ march in the city.
The event was on June 28, despite the warnings of the legal rekuses of the Viktor Nationalist Primary Stain in Hungary, his government banned the event that passed this year before.
The organizers say that despite fine threats, 200,000 people took part in the rally, which fell quickly on a protest against the government.
Wearing the capital shirt, Karacsonony Capiter Karacsony appeared at the Hungarian Research office, said: “It’s not freedom and love not banned in Budapest.”
If you are charged and convicted, Karakona could face a year to organize and encourage participation in March.
“They described the prosecution. I thought this wasn’t a complaint,” said Karacsony gathered 200 sides and journalists who gathered outside the building in more than an hour.
“No freedom nor love banned Budapest,” the mayor said, “If it cannot be banned, it cannot be punished.”
Accompanied by his lawyers, Karacsony has not answered any questions raised by the researcher, but presented them with an inherent expression.
Annual Pride March hesitated a law that passed a law by reducing encounters in March, if children’s protection law breaks in public promotion.
The stain was the last measure of the government aimed at the LGBTQ + community in Hungary.
In 2020, Hungary repealed the legal recognition of transgender, and in 2021, the government approved the law of banning the representation of homosexuality for children under the age of 18.
Despite the ban, the mayor was challenged, “Budapest Town Hall will host Budapest Pride as a local event on June 28,” and the police could not legally ban municipal events.
In the last month, police announced that they would not take action in the face of participants who could be € 500 ($ 427; $ 586) to go towards pride.
However, the Hungarian National Research Office, who is in charge of researching serious and complex crimes, said he put a probe against the “Unknown Author” accused of organizing rally.
