Tanner Charles and his friend were at home trying to make their home as fireproof as possible when the Palisades fire started closing in on them. They filmed the moment they had to leave, running down a street with several burnt-out houses.
The Palisades fire, one of several burning in Los Angeles, erupted late Tuesday as strong winds swept northwest of Los Angeles. It already has at least 1,000 buildings and has forced more than 30,000 residents to evacuate.
