The FBI interviewed Josh Harris in the George Norcross racketeering case

The stunning resurgence of the Washington Commanders has hit what clearly is and will be a slight hole.

Via the Philadelphia Inquirerthe FBI interviewed Commander owner Josh Harris last year in connection with a criminal racketeering case against
George E. Norcross III.

The report cites court records to support that claim.

The meeting allegedly took place on May 6, 2024. The documents do not reveal the purpose or content of the interview. Harris is not facing misdemeanor charges. “Dozens” have reportedly been interviewed in connection with the investigation.

Authorities have been investigating Norcross for years. The case, which culminated in a 13-count indictment against Norcross and others in June 2024, involves the passage of New Jersey’s economic development law in 2013, increasing tax incentives for companies choosing to invest in Camden, New Jersey. The Philadelphia 76ers, also owned by Harris, used the program to build a practice facility.

A spokesman for Harris Blitzer, the private equity firm owned by Harris, declined to comment to the Inquirer.

So far there is no real cause for concern. Still, it’s better, all things considered, that the FBI doesn’t interview you about anything.
