The Broncos “haven’t ruled anything out” regarding the stadium situation

The Broncos’ lease on their current stadium expires after 2030. The next step is unclear.

Broncos owner and CEO Greg Penner addressed the situation with reporters on Wednesday.

“Regarding the stadium, I’m sure you’ve all seen some rumors lately,” Penner said. “We’re continuing to do our due diligence. It’s a complex question and decision as to what we decide to do. We haven’t ruled anything out at this point. We’re still looking at options on the current site, around Denver, and we’ve visited other places like Lone Tree. There’s still more to come.” “Of the steps we need to take there.”

One important factor is the best deal the team can get. Taxpayer money and other concessions offered by the government will be part of the package the team is seeking.

Although the chances of relocating outside of Denver are very remote, the goal will be to find as many local options as possible, and pit them against each other.
