The 49ers filled their vacant position in the coordinator of private teams.
The team announced the contract with Brank Boer on Monday. The team was dismissed by Brian Schneider after the end of the 2024 season.
Boyer has spent the past nine seasons as a coordinator of the special teams with Jets. He worked under the leadership of many coaches during his period with East Asian Club and opened the last four seasons within the Robert Saleh crew.
Saleh was expelled before the end of the 2024 season, but the two men will work together again with the 49ers team. Saleh was appointed as a defensive coordinator for the 49th team last week.
Boyer spent a decade as a league player and started training with the Browns team as a coach in 2009. He also worked with the Giants and Colts team before moving to Jets.
