Nascar will return to Texas Motor Speedway this weekend with its three national series races on consecutive days on the 1.5 mile track north of Fort Worth.
The Craftsman Truck Series will practice, qualify and race on Friday, and practice and qualify for Saturday’s event.
The cup series practices and qualifies for Sunday’s 400-mile race.
Two-time Cup champion Kyle Busch is the defensive winner of the truck race, but is not entered on Friday (which happens to be his 40th birthday). Sam Mayer won the XFinity race in Texas last year.
Chase Elliott is the defending cup winner at Texas and has been in a 37-year-old winning streak since achieving his 19th career win on April 14, 2024 (he won the Clash pre-season exhibition in February at Bowman-Gray Stadium).
