Taylor raps day in and day out. Christian Benford is in concussion protocol

Bills cornerback Christian Benford has been placed in the concussion protocol following the win over the Ravens, coach Sean McDermott said Monday.

Benford was injured by a penalty kick at the end of Sunday’s match. He was hit by Ravens linebacker Kristian Welch before Bills cornerback Rasul Douglas covered the ball.

McDermott called safety Taylor Rapp, who left with a hip injury in the first half and did not return, day after day.

Rapp collided with teammate Damar Hamlin after Hamlin forced a fumble on Lamar Jackson. Von Miller returned it 39 yards to the Baltimore 24 to set up the touchdown.

Earlier in the game, Rapp intercepted Jackson.

He was replaced by rookie Cole Bishop.
