Spent cartridges were found among the debris of the fires in Los Angeles

The BBC’s Emma Vardy saw bullets ricocheting through the streets of Los Angeles, California on Thursday as fire damage was done. Some had spent cartridges while other bullets were still alive. As the fires were being lit, the BBC heard bangs, bangs and explosions, sounds that could have been hot bullets.
