The South African Court has decided that the Zambia government can rethink the body of former Edgar Lungu and give the State funeral, despite his family’s opposition.
Pretoria The Higher Court favored in Zambia State, before he planned to bury the family plans private in South Africa, when he died in June.
States, at the time, that personal desires should not be more public interest.
The quarrel continues the long-time feud between President Lungu and Hakainde Hichilema, as the family of Lungu stated that Hichilem said he would not go to his funeral.
Giving a judgment, the Judge Aubrey Ledwaba said the Zambia government is the right to revive the body of the late president “and ordered his families to” surrender immediately “to the authorities.
No orders have no order at the cost of urgent application.
