Bengals of the first round of Pick Shemar Stewart says it will not exercise until he signed his Rookie Agreement and is the only way to sign if the Bengals are changing the contract clause for which he considers unjust.
“In my case, I am 100 percent so that it should be non-money,” Stewart told reporters today in the drawn cabinet in Bengali rooms.
Bengali insist on the contract that says that the default of Stewart would announce all his remaining guarantees in any year of the contract. Bengali had never insisted in such a language before; With its previous contracts, they only made a gap outline guarantee for the year in which it has been given.
“I can’t say what I really want to say, but that’s their contract. They can do what they want with that,” Stewart said.
Stewart says he wants to exercise “very bad,” but will not exercise until he signed his contract.
“It’s very important. You have to get your body prepared to play football,” Stewart said. “I thought I would be on the field now. That’s what I want.”
Stewart said he would do whatever he can prepare, but he will not exercise and risk injuries while Bengali refuses to fulfill their contract requirements.
“I still go to meetings, I’m still studying my toy book,” Stewart said. “I’m always ready to leave. I stayed ready to go. It’s my job I have to be ready to go.”
But Stewart will not be ready to go until Bengals change their attitude.
