Seahawks engage three auxiliary trainers

Seahawks announced three additions to Mike Macdonald’s chief staff on Tuesday.

They hired John Benton as an offensive coach of Andrew Janocko as a quarterback trainer and Michael Byrnea as an offensive assistant. Movements for adding Benton and Janock previously reported.

All three coaches are located on the offensive side of the ball, and all three worked with the new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak in New Orleans last year.

Benton spent the last two decades in the NFL, and he also worked under Gary Kubiak with Texans. Janicko was a teddy bearer trainer, and he also worked with Kubiak in Minnesota, while Byrne’s first NFL experience last year as coaches.
