With 17 PGA tourist titles, Scottie Scheffler’s trophy room is quite busy, but adding a jug from the claret on the shelf after the victory last month in the open championship that feels unique especially specially.
“Masters, you get a green jacket for a year and wanamaker (trophy) is a big old trophy, and then it’s on Wednesday, and sometimes it said Scheffler in the first place in St. Judes, his first start from victory in the royal portress. “It’s fun.”
Given his history because of underestimated celebrations, Scheffler’s wing seems to win with Claret South, does not include the level of hijinki enjoyed by some previous champion golfers in the year, but world no. 1 He enabled his most recent prize at his home club in Dallas.
“We had a party two weeks ago at home with some of our friends, and everyone should have drinked. It was very fun,” Scheffler said. “A couple of times I brought him to the Royal Pacific (Rural Club), and one afternoon I think Meredith (wife) Meredith received a hairstyle or something, so I took care of (son) Bennett.
“He blew some golf balls, and we hung out at 19. I have some pretty funny pictures with Bennett in 19. Ruli, I realized whether we would enter several main championship trophies with us, they would let the rules move to it.”
After winning a master, PGA championship and open championship, Scheffler can complete the Grand Slam Career next summer on American open.
