London – The Court of Arbitration (CAS) for Sports has reduced the suspension from four years and six months to two years from Swedish tennis player drugs.
Madrasa was suspended under the anti -tennis anti -corruption program for violation of the rules. Madraus reached the high-world rankings of his career in July 2021. He was temporarily dismissed after he refused to analyze his mobile phone as part of the investigation.
The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) said in a statement that CAS had partially upheld its application. It has acknowledged his failure to cooperate but it has also been shown that a reduction authorization was appropriate.
In a separate case, French player Leni Mitjana has dismissed a petition against the 10 -year suspension, the International Tennis Integrity Unit said.
