Round Table of Fantasy Basketball: The biggest fantasy surprise

While some fantasy managers compete in leagues passing to the end of the regular NBA season, most were at the end of Sunday’s games. Congratulations to those who won their leagues and the money (and presumption rights) that are achieved. Those who did not reflect on what happened wrong and how they can avoid a similar destination next season.

With the fantasy season effectively, now is a good time for the fantasy basketball staff Rotoworld to have some round table discussions. Monday’s question is simple: Who was your biggest surprise in fantasy basketball? Nick Schlain, Noah Rubin, Rapielle Johnson and Zak Hanshew answered this question and each writer had a different choice.

Who was the biggest surprise of fantasy basketball this season?

Nick Schlain: Dyson Daniels He had an ADP of preseason of 136 in Yahoo! But he is the fifth player ranked in the total value of the game in the basketball monster this season. In his first season as a full -time starter, Daniels has seen his numbers increase through the table. It has not been so crucial to Daniels’ fantastic success that the robberies, the category where he runs the league with three robberies per game. Daniels has greatly exceeded expectations in his first season with the Hawks after coming to Atlanta the last season of Deajounte Murray trade.

Noah Rubin: I have been a pessimist for some time. Austin Reaves Productivity to fantasy basketball. I have had the opinion that he is a really good player, but this does not always translate into fantasy production, especially in the category leagues. In a team with Lebron James and Anthony Davis, why would you Read the ball in your hands enough to return the first level value? The negotiation for Luka Doncic certainly did not make me more optimistic and yet Reaves has been better while playing with a dominant ball superstar. During the last two months, he has returned the value of the third round this season and occupies the top ten in nine cats formats. He is prommediating the races of races in points, rebounds, assists, robberies and three points and has been solidified as a All-Star talent. Destroyed his yahoo! ADP of 87.8 and has recently been a producer of the League recently.

Rapielle Johnson: Many people laughed when Norman Powell discussed the loss for Paul George as “Addition for subtraction” For the clippers. PG departure meant more opportunities for Powell and Ivica zubacAnd they both went out. However, while Powell’s production was reduced due to injuries, “Big Zu” has been constantly excellent for clippers. Classified outside the first 50 in eight -cats formats, Zubac goes to the last week of the season safely inside this threshold in nine cats. He is prommediating the races of races in points, rebounds and assists while shooting 62.4 percent of the field. Although he hoped that Zubac was a player on Top-100 was inside reason, he has even been better than that.

Zak Hanshew: Maybe I should have seen a resurgence, but the later view is 20/20, right? After years of ending as a perennial Fantasy option Top-10, Karl-athony towns’s The value was very successful during the last two seasons. The adjustment next to Rudy Gobert was not ideal for cities from the point of view of fantasy, but his move to play a pure center role in New York has wondered for him. He is promised 12.8 race rebounds with 24.4 points, 3.1 dimens, two triples and a robbery. Towns is firing a 42.6% race beyond the bow and has reduced its results to its lowest mark in seven seasons. Towns’ revival is amazing based on crude numbers alone, but the fact that he runs his team in rebounds and stands second while playing such a loaded group is the most shocking aspect of his 2024-25 meteoric rise.
