Rory McIlroy: US Bolje Tim Ryder Cupa with Playing Keegan Bradley

Bradley is currently ninth on the US list with the top 6 automatically qualified. Automatic qualification completion 17. August and Bradley will announce their six captains next week.

McIlroy also asked about philosophical differences between the methods of Captain for American and European teams.

“It’s a different perspective, absolutely,” he said. “It really feels like it’s a player who leads a player in America, and we obviously have my contribution as a player in the European team, but we have that one character in (Captain Luke Donald).

“That’s important. I think even a return to Rome, when the Americans returned to a pretty rough start, and that they were looking into it. That’s what we have. But the players allowed the captain to be a captain.”
