Richard Childress Racing will appeal to Rockingham XFinity disqualification of Jesse Love

Richard Childress Racing said on Monday that it would attract the disqualification of Jesse Love of last weekend’s Nascar Xfinity race on Rockingham Speedway.

Love took the checkered flag But Nascar said his car failed after the race inspection and was disqualified. Sammy Smith was then declared the winner.

Nascar states that the Love’s car has an offense with the rear suspension. Nascar said that the car’s car violated Rule 14.14.2.i-5.h (all mating surfaces between the truck truck and the U-Bolt Hall should be in full contact with each other).

In an appeal of a disqualification of breeds, the decision of the three -member appeal panel is final. The ruling cannot be appealed to the final appeal officer.

A date has yet to be announced for the appeal.
