Rice Rashee: The potential suspension is “still in the works”

With his criminal layer settled, the heads of Rashee Rice has a step that remains before his street racing situation is resolved: potential, if not probably, NFL suspension.

“Honestly, it’s still in the works“” Rice said on Saturday, over Nate Taylor of ESPN.com. “My legal team does it. All I can do is focus on what I can control right now and do what I do best here in the field.”

As we hear, the NFL has yet to propose an agreed suspension to the NFL player association. Once this happens, NFLPA (which is currently in a state of turmoil, in order to say the least), it would work with Reice representatives to formulate a plan.

If the league and alliance cannot be agreed on the penalty, the formal process would be opened. Since the facts regarding what they were not disputed (incident is in the video), it is possible that the hearing before retired Judge Sue L. Robinson will be unnecessary. If this is the case, the thing would go straight the Roger Goodella Commissioner.
