Restaurant Hooters near Augusta National permanently closes


Rowdy Masters institution came to an end.

Restaurant Hooters on Washington Road, just a short walk from the sponsor entrance to the Augusta National Golf Club and at the epicenter of masterful entertainment every spring, closed.

Hooters Washington Road is one of the semi-dozen location of Georgia to close after bankruptcy in March. The chain’s parent company submitted bankrupt to deal with 376 million dollars debt and, according to the Associated Press, 100 restaurants owned by the company sold to the Hooters Franchise group.

Hooters Washington Road was a master speech for decades with patrons and celebrities who turned into a restaurant in the expansion of the party during the first main.

John Daly used Hooters car park as his tournament seat and a shopping center, selling a marked memorabilia from his RV during the master.
