Report: QB coach Scott Tolzian to leave Cowboys

The Cowboys went with continuity in head coaching by bumping Brian Schottenheimer from offensive coordinator, but they won’t bring back the rest of the offensive staff.

The NFL’s Ian Rapoport reports that quarterbacks coach Scott Tolzian He was set to leave team. Tolzian’s contract has expired and his next stop is unknown.

Tolzien joined the Cowboys as a coaching assistant in 2020, and took on the role of quarterbacks coach in 2023. He also coached at Wisconsin, where he played linebacker before embarking on an NFL career.

Tolzien started two games for the Packers in 2013 and made two more starts for the Packers later in his career.
