Report: Patriots are interviewing Thomas Brown for offensive coordinator job

The Patriots interviewed Bears interim coach Thomas Brown earlier this week for their vacant offensive coordinator job under Mike Vrabel, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reports .

Brown also interviewed for the Bears’ head coaching job and is a candidate for the Seahawks’ offensive coordinator job.

He was in his first season as the offensive coordinator in Chicago when the team fired Matt Eberflus. Brown was 1-4 as interim coach.

Brown began his NFL coaching career as the Rams’ running backs coach in 2020. He received the title of assistant head coach in 2021, and changed the position in 2022 to coach of tight ends.

He was the offensive coordinator of the 2023 Panthers.
