Prime Video’s Steelers-Ravens playoff game averages 22.07 million viewers

Amazon Prime streamed its first-ever playoff game on Saturday night. Despite expectations that it would set an NFL broadcast record, the Steelers-Ravens game fell through.

An average of 22.07 million watched the game. Although that was a high mark for the Prime Video and Christmas games bundle on Netflix Both exceeded 24 million.

It probably didn’t help that the game wasn’t close, as the Ravens led 21-0 at halftime and the Steelers never got within 14.

Still, that was a very good number — and well above last year’s average attendance of 17.3 million for Dolphins-Chiefs on Peacock.

For Peacock, the playoff was part of a limited two-game package. For Prime Video, it was the culmination of the third year of the weekly Thursday night package.
