With ten races left in the usual season, the Nascar Cup series will undertake its only trip to Pocono Raceway this weekend.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the 2.5-mile track was hosted for one annual cup race. Ryan Blaney is the defensive winner, after ending a 13-year victory for Team Penske on Pocono last year.
The XFinity and Truck series will also chase on the track in Long Pond, Pennsylvania, this weekend. Corey Heim (truck) and Cole Custer (XFINITY) are the defensive winners.
Nascar’s top three national series recently shared the same Renna Week in Nashville Superspeedway on May 30, June.
Denny Hamlin returns to the series this weekend after being missing last weekend’s race in Mexico for the birth of his son.
