Petra Kevitova Get a Wild Card for Wimbledon

London – Petra Kevitova returns to Wimbledon after 28 and after the 25th champion awarding a wild card for this year’s tournament.

Kevitova played in the Grass-Court Grand Slam tournament in the last 2021 and became the first mother during her son’s birth during last year’s Wimbledon Tournament.

The Kevitova returned to the WTA tour in Austin, Texas in February 17 months away from the court, and is currently in the 572th place.

The only non-British player in the Czech Republic is the only non-British player who received a single wild card in the original draw.

Seven other players, including Wild Cards for the Women’s Draw, include British player Heather Watson, Harriet Dart and Jody Bureauz, while Dan Evans is among the seven British players given a wild card for men’s draw. The organizers say another male wild card will be declared “properly”.
