1. No campaigning: Politicians and candidates are not allowed to use the festival as a platform for political promotion. This includes distributing campaign materials, delivering speeches with political undertones, or engaging in direct campaign-related activities.
2. Float participation rules: While public officials may join the parade, they cannot display campaign banners, slogans, or any form of election-related messaging on their floats. Additionally, interacting with spectators for political gain — such as handshaking or distributing items — is discouraged.
3. Neutral attire: Politicians participating in festival events must refrain from wearing clothing that features campaign slogans, party logos, or any other political symbols.
