Nick Sirianni on Jalen Hurts and Quinyon Mitchell: We’ll see as the week goes on

The Eagles had several key players go down with injuries in Sunday’s win over the Rams, and head coach Nick Sirianni didn’t have much of an update on any of them during Monday’s news conference.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts injured his left knee and briefly went to the sideline medical tent but didn’t miss a single snap. He said after the victory that “I finished the game” when asked how he felt.

Cornerback Quinjon Mitchell did not return from a shoulder injury, but said after the game that he felt he would be OK. Sirianni said the team will know more about both players in the coming days.

“We will have more information for you,” Sirianni said. “Obviously I’m still going through the process of the day here. I know those guys will do everything they can to be at the top of their game on Sunday. I’m confident in our coaching staff and I’m confident in those guys. We’ll see how it goes this week.”

The Eagles will release their first injury report of the week after practice on Wednesday.
