Austin Hill recorded his third win of the season when Nascar ruled that he was before Jeb Burton, as the warning came out on the last round.
Connor Zilisch led on the last round. He blocked Jesse Love and there was contact, which sent Zilisch’s car across the track. His car knocked down the inside of the inside of the inside of the inside. Zilisch then stepped out of the Infield Care Center.
Hill’s victory is his ninth on a drawing track, most in the series on such a track. It breaks a tie he had with Dale Earnhardt and Tony Stewart.
Jeb Burton finished second after a review by Nascar about where the cars were when the warning lights were relieved. Love completes third. Justin Allgaier was fourth. Matt Dibenedetto completed the top five.
After leaving the Infield Care Center, Zilisch told the CW network that he “felt good afterwards. So very grateful to drive Safe JR Motorsports race cars. … We were in the right place. I didn’t really look close enough to know what happened.
Love visited the race with Zilisch to look at his friend.
