Nascar to allow extra cars in Mexico City XFinity Race

NASCAR will allow two additional entries for the XFINITY race in Mexico City, and the field is expanding to as much as 40 cars for the June 14 race.

All other XFinity races are limited to 38 cars.

Any teams used that become an international provisional for the Mexico City XFinity race for the time being will start the 39th and 40th in the race.

– Do not be eligible for prize money, regardless of the finish position.

– Do not receive driver or team owner for the race. All other vehicles will be increased in the standings and receive points accordingly.

– Do not receive manager or team owner points for phases. All other vehicles will be increased in the standings and receive points accordingly.

– Do not receive credit for the win or any playoff benefits associated with victory. The vehicle in second place receives first place points, but does not receive the benefits of victory, including the suitability for the play -offs.

– Do not receive the play -offs associated with the stage or a race victory. Second place in the stage and/or race will not receive the playoffs.
