NASCAR Saturday Schedule at Darlington Raceway


It is an early start for Nascar at Darlington Raceway, which welcomes the Truck and Cup series on Saturday.

Cup cars are on the 1.366-mile oval for exercise from 09:00, followed by at 10:10 p.m. To qualify for the southern 500.

The Craftsman Truck Series run starts in the afternoon. This is the first time since 2021 that the trucks will last at Darlington in late summer and the first time as the only companion event to cup. The 200-mile warm-up to the Southern 500 tradtionally was a race for the XFinity series, which is in Portland International Raceway this weekend.

  • 7 – 11:30 – Cup – Series
  • 10:00 – 17:30 – Truck series

Trace activity

  • 9 – 10 Hours – Cup Practice (Trutv, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR RADIO)
  • 10:10 – 11 Hours – Qualifying (Trutv, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR RADIO)
  • Afternoon – Truck Race (147 rounds, 200 miles; stage 1 on cloth 45, stage 2 on cloth 90; fs1, mrn, siriusxm nascar radio)

Saturday: Partly cloudy air with a 12% chance of rain. A highlight of 85 degrees with winds from northeast from 5 to 10 mph. It is expected to be 80 degrees with a 2% chance of rain at the beginning of the truck race.
