Nascar Friday Schedule at Cota Austin

The new Nascar layout at Circuit of the Americas will get its first test on Friday, as XFinity cars hit the track for exercise and qualifying.

A new ‘national’ course will be used for stock cars in the Austin, Texas, roadway. The 20 times layout, 2.4 miles, will shorten the traditional circuit of the track (used for Formula One) by about a kilometer and shave about a minute off the round.

XFinity practice starts at 17:00 ET and rolls directly to qualifying shortly after 18:00 coverage is available on the CW Streaming app.

The IMSA Sankioned VP Racing Sportscar Challenge will also be in action with exercise and qualifying at Cota.
