NASCAR admits that it had to call a caution at the end of Atlanta Xfinity Race

Hampton, GA. Nascar said on Sunday that he had to throw the warning flag on the last round of Saturday night’s Xfinity race, and if the situation happens again in the contemporary cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the warning flag will move.

Elton Sawyer, senior vice president of the Nascar, commented at the managers’ meeting about an hour before Sunday’s cup race.

“My last comment is based on (Saturday) night racing, our goal is to complete our races under green conditions,” Sawyer told drivers. “This is our number 1 goal. We are also not going to chase through a rubble field. So you can expect warnings to come out on the basis of (Saturday) night. It was upon us.

“A situation that shows up today like (Saturday) will be a caution. ‘

When the leaders reached the last round of Saturday’s XFinity race in Atlanta, a few cars crashed into the top -10. Behind the initial incident, three other cars crashed.

The race remained green when Austin Hill Justin Allgaier beat the win. The warning came out shortly after Hill crossed the finish line, but at least a few cars had to drive through both incidents while the green was staying out.

When Nascar throws a warning flag at the end of a race, it has been an increasing problem since last week’s racing at Daytona.

Nascar has a warning in the second qualifying race at Daytona with the leaders in the light of the beginning/finish line. Jusan Hamilton, a director of the Nascar race, has on the NASCAR PODCAST “HAULER TALK” that the race should have completed green.

“It’s one if you look back, I would say we can do it differently,” he said. “I would say that we could get them start/finish, but it now looks back on a Tuesday, goes back on all our reviews and has the luxury and time to review the complete situation.”

In the past week’s Craftsman Truck Race, a few vehicles from the track near turn 3 dropped and the race remained green. Several trucks destroyed between turns 3 and 4. The race ended under caution because some trucks had to drive through the incident.

In last weekend’s Daytona 500, an accident on the last round did not bring the caution.

Instead, Nascar William Byron allowed to chase back to the finish line and throw the warning after taking the checkered flag.

Nascar said Nascar, with the field bursting with the field and passing – with no one who immediately needs first aid – could ask for some emergency vehicles to go to the site. As the incident area was more than a kilometer from the finish line, drivers would have time to delay before reaching the scene.
