Naomi Osaka declares that he is no longer working with coach Patrick Morratoglo

Washington-Naomi Osaka and coach Patrick Mortoglu have been working together after less than a year, four-time Grand Slam champion on social media.

Osaka started his post, “Marci Patrick,” his post began with a picture of his practice hit while standing near him. “It was a great experience to learn from you you greet you nothing but the best. You are one of the coolest people you have seen with me and I am sure I’ll see you around.”

The news came just before the Osaka DC Open lost the second match in Toronto. The US Open, the last big tournament of the year and an event Osaka won twice, will begin in New York on August 25.

Osaka hired Mortogloo-who was the long-time coach of Serena Williams-when he dismissed the Wim Fisette shortly after the departure of the second round of the US Open last year.

Osaka, former No. 1, is currently in 51st place and has 21-11 records this season.

He has not passed the third round in the Grand Slam tournament since winning the 2021 Australian Open.
