Mickey Loomis: The Saints trainer search last longer than expected because the eagles were constantly won

It was expected for weeks that Kellen Moore would go from eagles offensive coordinator in the main coach of the saints as soon as the Eagle season came to the end. But it could not become officially until the Eagle season ended. And the Eagle season did not end until they won Super Bowl Lix.

Sveti General Manager Mickey Loomis admits that the good thing to see your future head coach and the highest level and challenge to wait for your coach, because it has a super bowl.

“This was a comprehensive process,” Loomis said. “It took longer than we predicted, simply because the eagles were constantly victorious, and that delayed our opportunity to make a informed decision. We appreciate their patience and cooperate with us during the process and certainly congratulate the Filadelphia Eagles and Kellen about conquering super vessels in New Orleans. “

Loomis said the eagles were thoroughly examined by several coaches before they surrender to Moore.

“We had a series of excellent job candidates, and I believe that each of the finalists is qualified and will be the main coaches in the future and I want to thank them for interest, their efforts and their patience during this process,” Loomis said. “Finally, we found that Kellen best suits our team and his experience as a player, as a coach position, and as the offensive coordinator prepared him well for this opportunity. And that was really visible in our interviews and our discussions.”

There is a lot of talks to make the situation with the salaries of the saints compose them, potentially years to come. But Loomomis insists that the future is bright in New Orleans.

“It’s very easy to excite about the direction he and his staff will take our team,” Loomis said.
