While the Playoffs of the NBA are in full evolution, now is a good time to raise the fantasy basketball season for the 30 teams.
In the following weeks, we will provide a recap for each team, starting with the team with the worst record and ending with the NBA champion in June.
With the time of Jimmy Butler officially, Pat Riley has some decisions to make on the future of this team.
Miami Heat 2024-25 season recapitulation
Register: 37-45 (10th, east, lost in the first round)
Offensive rating: 106.7 (29a)
Defense rating: 115.7 (24th)
Net rating: -19.1 (27th)
: Rhythm: 98.22 (23)
2024 Draft: 20
Although the heat could maintain its playoff streak, this was a disappointing season for the franchise. Its 37 wins were the few from the team since the 2014-15 season, which was the year after LeBron James returned to Cleveland. Of course, Jimmy Butler also traded after their dramatic feud with Pat Riley. Erik Spoelstra took it to take the pieces, but they were able to close the regular season well and beat the Bulls and Hawks at the Play-in Tournament before being devastated by the Cavaliers in the first round.
So where do they go from here? #Heatculture has been able to maintain this competitive team for all the Spoelstra term with the team, even when they were between stars. Riley said that the team “probably will not work again” with what they had this season. The heat has no additional assets to make great movements, but they are likely to have the opportunity to improve the possibilities of this team to win next season. Do not expect this team to enter a reconstruction.
Fantasy prominent: Tyler Herro
Despite the saga surrounding Jimmy Butler, Herro could have the best season of his career. He promised 23.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3.3 three points per game, which caused the first all-star appearance of his career. Herro provided the third round value and established new levels of career for points, assists and threads per game, while also published the best percentage of the field goal of his career.
Herro was great in the game tournament, although he fought in Miami’s loss in front of Cleveland in the first round. However, with the way the list is currently being built, Herro will continue to be the offense in offense. Is Miami enough to fight in the way they would like? Probably not, but it will work well in fantasy. Herro took a legitimate step as a player this season, and was one of the few players in the heat that was really worth making the standard leagues.
Fantasy revelation: Kel’el Ware
As a first draft of the heat from Tyler Herro (13), expectations were high for Ware. The 15th Global Selection ended up taking advantage of an increased role and promised 9.3 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 22.2 minutes per game as a novio. Ware’s role was inconsistent, but had some incredible sections that provided very optimism for his future in the league.
Miami does not choose often, but when they do, it tends to work well. His last three options in three first 15 elections have been Ware, Herro and Bam Adebayo. As a starter, Ware had an average of 10.8 points, 10.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 28.4 minutes per game. Having a center next to Adebayo was an experiment that worked well. The heat has not had much central depth when BAM is not on the ground in the last seasons and Ware perfectly fills this role. Among Miami’s pieces for the future, Ware is one of the brightest.
Fantasy disappointment: Terry Rozier
With a yahoo! ADP of 106.7, Rozier certainly did not live up to these expectations. He ended up outside the top-25 in nine cats leagues with averages of 10.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.4 triples per game. Rozier was completely out of rotation for most of March and April and did not see the flat during the post -season.
Rozier still has one more season in his contract before entering the free agency, and with the way things ended this season, the odds of playing enough to win a good day are low. Rozier had been a top-100 player in five consecutive seasons before this year, so his dramatic fall of grace came out of nowhere. Rozier is also investigated to “potentially manipulate his performance as part of an illegal sports betting scheme in a 2023 game for Hornets”. It is a situation worth overseeing, and Jontay Porter received a ban on the life of the NBA for his participation in a similar topic.
Fantasy/look recapitulations
BAM ADEBAYO
Things started slowly for Adebayo, but ended up discovering things and had a strong season. He promised 18.1 points, 9.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.3 robberies and 1.0 triple in 34.3 minutes per game. Adebayo’s points and rebounds were successful, but their assists were the highest that has been since the 2020-21 season. Bam is an excellent player for a center, and with Jimmy Butler disappeared, he will continue to see that his game opportunities increase next season.
Adebayo is an incredible piece for the heat to have, and it is one of the best defenders in the league. He represents everything they want to be, but it is not enough to make this team a contestant on his own. The combination of Bam and Herro is strong, but they need more to really fight. However, this does not mean that they can bring this player this summer. Except for important changes, Adebayo and Herro will be the 1st and 1b of this team, with BAM assuming more leadership in the defensive end while still participating in the offense. It became a legitimate threat of three points this season, and although this was the worst percentage of the field goal of his career, he was a more dynamic player in offense. It may never become a large punch, but its capacity for space opens things for the rest of the team.
Andrew Wiggins
As part of the Butler shopping package, Wiggins was sent to Miami after spending the last seasons in Golden State. In 17 heat appearances, Wiggins promised 19.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.2 robberies, 1.0 block and 2.1 threads per game. He has two more seasons in his contract, with the second year as a player option.
Assuming not to be moving again, Wiggins should be a productive option next season. He really fought during the 2023-24 season after a phenomenal campaign before that, and was again an average collaborator this past season. However, his production increased with heat and prioritized more than he was with the Warriors this season. It was not a great option in the leagues nine cats for most of his career, but his current situation in Miami is favorable for him. However, this does not mean that it is a lock to stick to this list, especially if a better player is available.
Nikola Jovic
Limited to 46 games due to a hand injury, Jovic still had a decent year for Miami. He promised 10.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.7 threads in 24.6 minutes per game. These brands allowed him to end in the first 200 in the score of nine cats for the first time in his young race. Jovic will turn 22 in June and still have great potential without exploiting. He has been able to show his reverse to Spurts, but the injury of his hand in February ruled out a golden opportunity to take a step after Jimmy Butler’s trade.
Entering next season, Jovic is one of the few young players with the other way around on Miami’s list. It is worth putting in dynasty and could take a leap as soon as next season. The heat has many questions to answer your future, but Jovic provides a brightness of hope for the future, whether it is allowed to develop or use as a piece to help bring a new star to make this team a contestant in the East.
Davion Mitchell
After starting the season in Toronto, Mitchell was marketed in the heat at the commercial deadline of PJ Tucker and a future second round selection. He made 30 appearances in Miami and promised 10.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.4 robberies and 1.4 three per game. Mitchell was inside and outside the raptor’s starting line, but he immediately entered Miami’s initial formation.
He did not play this role for the rest of the season, but was very successful as a reservation, which was brought to the post -season. He had at least five assists in the six games of the later season and at least 15 points in the top five. Mitchell, a restricted free agent, Mitchell could be a decent swing in the round of next season if he returns with the heat.
Duncan Robinson
The three -point veteran Marksman continues to play an important role for Miami. He played 24.1 minutes per game this season, with an average of 11.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.6 threads per game. Robinson ended up outside the top-15 in the nine cats leagues last season, but was closer to the Top-25 brand this year. All of their numbers were successful, including their minutes per game. Robinson will probably pick up his $ 19.9 million player option for next season, but then his important contract will be outside Miami’s books. Whether it is maintained or not, Robinson’s game does not translate well into fantastic basketball, unless you are desperate by three points.
Jaime Jaquez Jr.
After a strong novice season, Jaquez Jr. He saw his role decrease in the second year. He promised 8.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 20.7 minutes per game. When he was given the opportunity, Jaquez Jr. It had some strong statistical lines, including a line 1/16/5/5 in January and a line 41/10/7 in the final of the regular season. However, he was not part of the team’s rotation during the post -season. The selection of the first round of 2023 should continue to be a good piece of depth for them, and at the age of 24 there is still room to improve. However, it was disappointing that his role was reduced after making the first team of rookie the previous season. There should be a lot of optimism that surrounds him by entering next season.
Haywood Highsmith
Highsmith continues to play an important role for Miami as a cola type, although he has not translated much success in the box score. He promised 6.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 triples per game this season. Highsmith has a contract for a season more than $ 5.6 million before he enters a free agency without restrictions. It should win a decent day, but it is unlikely to never become a factor in fantasy basketball.
Kyle anderson
Anderson was sent to Miami as part of Butler’s trade after signing with the Warriors last summer. He promised 6.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 25 appearances in the heat. Anderson continues to hire two more seasons, but he may not take into account his future plans. Whether it remains in Miami or to play anywhere else, Anderson will not be very factor in fantasy basketball.
