Augusta, him. – It’s early on Friday afternoon, and Bryson Dechambeau has already taken 824 shots this week.
And that was just in the area of the tournament.
The first time the masters presented the accompaniment data to monitor the area of practice areas, giving fans unprecedented at each and every momentum that makes the player in preparation for the first major.
Also offered a fascinating view of Dechambeau’s voted mind.
DECHAMBEAU marathon sessions are already the things of the legend, and now there is concrete evidence to support its tireless work ethic – hit hundreds More balls than any of the other 94 competitors in the Masters field. It included a long-time session on Tuesday in which 393 balls were hit – or equivalent, approximately nine golf rounds – next to the wheel of the exercise with nine holes in August.
He was asked to explain the method of his madness, Dechambea smiled and pointed to the head: “Something is not up, I guess.”
But all the work put Dechambea in his best position, one crashed, through 36 holes here on masters: rounds 69-68 and a meeting with a 36-hole that Justin rose in the last group on Saturday.
Through two rounds, Dechambeau is well from his average career in Augusta National, where his best career before last year was a connection in 21 yearsul as an amateur. (Last year, DECHAMBEAU opened 65 to process early leaders before the rest of the road and settlement of the wrist six.) Encouraged 11 out of the 14 days in the last two days, and everyone led a field of 331.6 meters POP. His 64% greenery in regulation is also better than his usual marks.
The reason for his post-round minced Thursday was his approach to play as he tried to re-integrate high-shaping grid to be usually withdrawn on request. All over all, he recorded 210 shots for practices (and before and after), because he faced himself, and then he enjoyed a light moment on Friday, the move, moves to a fifth and a fifth and ninth.
“It’s the same thing I’ve been doing for years,” he said. “I just have to be a little more consistent with that.”
So, work.
He raises the fascinating question, however, as Augusta National always describes competitors as one of the most appropriate physical examinations of the year. So DECHAMBEAU – who has significantly renewed the body from their wired days at the Faculty – does not only support the challenge of walking and playing August Nacional, but then serves even more punishment in the tournament area.
How does he manage it?
“For me, everything that matters is able to make a shot in the way I want to hit him,” he said. “If I don’t see, go out of the window with the right curved, I’ll work until I get out and I feel my perception fulfills reality. If perception and reality don’t meet, and then I keep working on it.
“But I will continue. I don’t stop. That’s why I’m () too) and a long drive (circle) – just put through a difficult test, and it pays off the mentality point.”
Dechambeau said that he was not uncommon for him, if he really tries to find his game, shoot 15 to 20 swing thoughts in a session – anything that could be learned in reality.
“I have a lot above,” he said. “You wouldn’t want to be inside.”
