Masters get the first week wd – and that is this past champion

This weekly Master field lost past champs on Monday morning.

Vijay Singh informed the Tournament Competition Commission to not compete this week in Augusta National due to undisclosed injuries.

62-year-old Singh, who won the Master 2000, went out from the first cut in six years last year (T-58). He tied up in 18. Sunday at PGA Tour Champions’ James Hardie Pro Football Hall from Fame.

Singh won’t be replaced on the ground, which is now on 95 players.
