Marcos holds press briefing at end of India state visit

President Marcos caps his five-day state visit to India with a press conference in Bangalore

MANILA, Philippines – President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. holds a press briefing in Bangalore, India, on Friday August 8, the final day of his state visit to the South Asian country.

Marcos, who kicked off his state visit on August 4, gives a recap of the highlights of his visit, which included bilateral meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President  Droupadi Murmu. Around 13 bilateral agreements were signed during the trip, which also marked the 75th year of Philippines-India diplomatic relations.

He also responds to questions on pressing issues back home.
