Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the tight end Travis Kelce played the game he forgot in Super Bowl Lix, but they still got a place in the NFL history in the process.
With Kelce, they capture four macho passes and acquire 39 receiving yards, a combination of Mahomes-Kelce is now in their four super bowls now 389 meters. It is the strongest for any expense of throwing on any receiver in the history of the Super Bowl.
The previous record was 364 courtyards, which threw Tom Brady in Super Bowla in Super Bowl, and that Terry Bradshaw threw in Lynn Swann in a super bowl. Joe Montana and Jerry Rice were right behind them, with 363 meters in three super bowls they played together.
Now Mahomes and Kelce are first on the list. Whether they ever add that in total – or whether Kelce is completely completed in the NFL – remains to be seen.
