LPGA announces new policy tempo game to start in March

LPGA announced on Thursday the creation of a new policy pace game, which will take effect in March.

Current political issues punishes for players who are 1-10 seconds during the assigned time, and a two-stroke sentence for those who are more than 11 seconds.

The new policy adds in a single penalty and states as such:

  • 1-5 seconds: fine
  • 6-15 seconds over: punishment one-sided
  • 16 seconds or more: a two-stroke punishment

The tour also stated that it will continue to allow for an additional 10 seconds for the first player to hit a pair of 3s, approach with shots and paths. But it will no longer allow the extra time to be hit first on a pair of 4s and a couple 5s (other than what is considered “available” to the 4-S).

Officials can continue to issue groups one warning per circle before the group – or individual players – are timed.

The Committee for Playing Meeting in Multiple Times in the Offendor, and the players sent a note earlier this year, to allocate the update.

According to the memorandum, the LPGA was punished by 22 players for the disputed show 2024. years, while nine players received penalties with two shots. But they had a new policy in force, there would be 23 penalties and eight punishments.

“Based on the entrance that supports data and direct players, this policy now acts as stronger deterrent, ensuring that players take warnings before the penalties have been needed,” said the president of LPGA Goetze-Ackerman on Thursday Thursday.

The new policy will take effect after the three-event of the Asia tour, starting from Ford Championship, 27. until 30. March. Epson’s development tour will also implement the policy for the IOA championship that week.
