While the Playoffs of the NBA are in full evolution, now is a good time to raise the fantasy basketball season for the 30 teams.
In the following weeks, we will provide a recap for each team, starting with the team with the worst record and ending with the NBA champion in June.
The first year with JJ Redadk at the helm was reduced by an earlier way out of what was expected, but with Luka Doncic in the city, the Lakers will be contending over the next few years.
Los Angeles Lakers 2024-25
Register: 50-32 (3rd, West, lost the first lap)
Offensive rating: 106.7 (29a)
Defense rating: 115.7 (24th)
Net rating: -19.1 (27th)
: Rhythm: 98.22 (23)
2024 Draft: 55
There is always a look at the Lakers, but I felt it was stronger than ever this season. The ex-analist of the ESPN and the co-amphry of Lebron James in the mind the podcast of the JJ Retadk game was prepared to make the jump of the spread cabin apart. Although he had shown a knowledge of the game at the microphone, there were questions about how he would translate into a coaching role. From the first day, there were comparisons between the Reticck record with the team and ex -main coach Darvin Ham, as the season progressed. Things only became more agitated when they traded Anthony Davis by Luka Doncic during the night without a notice that neither players would have the opportunity to be moved. However, Redick did a good job in the regular season, but there were too many obstacles to overcome his series against Minnesota, and lost in five games.
The point of view is nowhere, but the chaos of adjusting to the march should have disappeared. They will have a low season to integrate in Doncic (he lost two months before the Lakers debut) and will try to make movements to build a list that fits Luka’s strengths. Oh, and they still have LeBron James. Although there was a lot of criticism of the lakers, the future seems bright and their time to compete no longer ends when LeBron retires.
Highlighted Fantasy: Lebron james
This is not what it was once, but James continues to contribute to a high level. He promised 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 8.2 assists, 1.0 stealing and 2.1 triples in 70 games this season. This allowed him to provide a second round value to the nine cats leagues, which he has only failed to do twice in his career. Its 24.4 points per game were its lowest average since its new year, but it was still 13th in the league.
Of course, even if sometimes you feel, LeBron can’t play forever. He has a player option for next season, but then he will be a free agent. It is producing at such a high level that it is difficult to consider, but from that moment on, each season it could be its last. He is still among the best players in the League, but to ensure he has the opportunity to win another ring, Redick could choose to leave his minutes next season. We hope this happens for years and, although it has not yet happened, it is difficult to imagine a 40 -year -old young man playing 34.9 minutes per game for 70 games, which he did this season.
Fantasy revelation: Austin Reaves
Reades has continued to improve every season, and this was the best yet. He promised 20.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.1 robberies and 2.7 triples per game in his 73 appearances this season. These brands were high in career for him, which was a value of the first 50 places in the nine cats leagues.
After Luka’s trade, Reaves was even better, which is amazing. He promised 23.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3.3 threads in 26 games next to Doncic. Despite needing to share touches with another dominant ball of the ball, Reaves could be more successful at the end of the season, although he did not translate into the playoffs. He fought in the loss of the Minnesota, which leaves some questions about his future value. However, fantasy basketball is played during the regular season and Reaves was incredible. It should continue to play an important role for Lakers, especially if they want to keep lebron fresh for the playoffs.
Fantasy disappointment: Jaxson Hayes
It is difficult to be really disappointed with Hayes, but expectations for him to contribute to fantasy after the deadline of trade. I really didn’t have competition for minutes at the center. It started 32 times after Anthony Davis was marketed and promised 8.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 block in 21.9 minutes per game.
Hayes had a golden opportunity to have an excellent career and win a decent size contract this summer. His competition for minutes at the center was Alex Len and Christian Koloko, although he reached the point that Redick chose to use Dorian Finney-Smith in the center of a series against Rudy Gobert because he felt more effective. Whether or not it was the right strategy, if you had been better, it would not have been something that Reticck considered. Hayes was a hot collection after trade, but did not take advantage of the situation.
Fantasy/look recapitulations
Luka Doncic
Doncic appeared in 28 games for the Lakers after the impactful offer that ended his time in Dallas. He promised 28.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 7.5 assists, 1.6 robberies and 3.6 threads per game, which is a generational season for most, but it was considered a disappointment for Luka. It had been left out since Christmas day with a calf injury when the Lakers debuted almost two months later. Before, he had been treating some other unpleasant injuries that forced him to waste a while.
Recadck has already emphasized the need for everyone to be in the form of a championship next season and, if you had not heard it, part of the reason why Mavericks GM Nico Harrison negotiated Doncic was that he was out of shape. This report was leaked in a number of ways, although the agreement may have been justified. This may add fuel to Doncic, but in any way, it was never at its best for the lakers, which can be attributed to the wounds that forced him to waste time. A season off with their new team should make wonders for Luka. Wait for it to be one of the best fantastic basketball players next season.
Dalton Knecht
Los Angeles wrote Knecht with the selection number 17 last summer and was able to impact quickly. This is hope when you drafted a 23 -year -old in the first round. However, things changed when he was sent to Charlotte by Mark Williams, only to terminate the agreement. Although he later had some strong performances later, he fought in general and was not part of the rotation by the end of the year. He made 78 appearances as a novio and promised 9.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.6 threads per game.
The Lakers already tried to trade it once, so it would not be shocking if they explored the move again this summer. They need central help and is one of their most valuable commercial assets. If you have returned to it, it will be a good reservoir scorer. However, if it ends elsewhere and it is a situation where it begins and sees many traits, it may be that next season, especially in points leagues.
Rui Hachimura
Hachimura was a headline from day one for Lakers and was a consistent producer for them throughout the year. He promised 13.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.7 triples per game. Hachimura was in the first 150 in nine cats leagues for the second consecutive season, although it has not stood out in any individual category. Unless Lakers make changes to the big list this summer, they should play an important role as a starter again next season. However, the 27 -year -old will not have much room for growth, as he will not see a dramatic increase in use for a complete season with Luka Doncic in the city.
Dorian Finney-Smith
The Lakers acquired DFS at the end of December in an agreement sent from Angelo Russell to Brooklyn. Finney-Smith played in 43 games for the Lakers and had an average of 7.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.9 three per game. He is a solid veteran who can still hit both sides of the ground. He spent the first six seasons of his career in Dallas, which means he is very familiar with playing with Luka. As a starter, it can still be a solid source of defensive and triple statistics, but with the way the list is currently being built, it will probably not play a large enough role to provide standard league value next season. Still, it will have a little upside down.
Jordan Goodwin
After originally incorporating the Lakers into a ten-day agreement, Goodwin played well enough to win a contract for the rest of the season. They have a team option to return it, and although the numbers were not outlined, he played well enough to deserve a place of qualification next season. In its 29 appearances, it promised 5.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists and one robbery per game. Assuming it returns, it will be a solid piece of depth for it, but it will probably only have a legitimate fantasy value as a replacement of injuries.
Jarred Vanderbilt
Vanderbilt lost the last two months of last season with a half -foot sprain, and then had a surgery at both feet in the low season, so he did not adapt to the Lakers until January. However, he played in 36 games and promised 4.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists and a robbery per game. Vanderile is an elite defender, but his offensive game is incredibly limited. If you see a blow next season, you should be able to provide rebounds and theft, but it will be the extent of its fantasy impact.
Gabe vincent
His first season with the Lakers was disappointing, but Vincent was more productive in the second year. He promised 6.4 points, 1.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.5 threads in 21.2 minutes per game. Vincent got a contract with Los Angeles after a strong playoff race with the heat, but has never ended in the 200 tops in nine cats leagues. It is unlikely to change next season.
